TWO YEARS OF THE EVENING SHOW!!

2 years ago today I presented my first ever Kerrang! Radio Evening Show. Bit mad really that it’s been 2 whole years, living your dream and that… madness! Thanks as always for tuning in and growing this show beyond belief x

Kayleigh got me some old copies of Kerrang! from the year (and month!!) that I was born so i’m going to be going through some of the best quotes from the copies on the airwaves, some right gems, people really didn’t think Linkin Park were going to make it…

(and i’ll always remember the date I started the evening show because it’s dan’s birthday, sorry pet!! oh and happy birthday)

some highlights from a tough year… in late 2024 I was diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, something i’ve come to realise has been present my whole life, and this year has been a tough year of therapy and medication to finally be in recovery to go into 2026. it’s far from recovery though, breaking through old compulsions has revealed deeper obsessions that I know will be my goal to work on for 2026... I never really talk about it on here so I don’t really know why i’m posting about this, maybe to show how proud I am of myself to be in active recovery to end the year? …to raise awareness of the disorder too, so that next time you may use ‘OCD’ as an adjective you’ll think it’s not just about being tidy, and consider the pain that people suffering from the disorder go through every single day... anyways, i’m proud of myself for getting through this year, with some lovely memories to celebrate through to the tough moments too <3
